Syrtis Solutions is pleased to be an exhibitor and presenter at the 2013 Anti-Fraud Exposition coordinated by the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association. Established in 1985 by multiple private health insurers and federal and state government executives, the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association is definitely the foremost national institution focused entirely on the fight to prevent health care fraud. The NHCAA is a private-public partnership – the participants include over 100 private health insurers along with those public-sector law enforcement and regulatory agencies possessing jurisdiction over health care fraud committed against both private payers and public programs. The mission of the NHCAA is to safeguard and serve the public interest by increasing awareness and improving the detection, investigation, civil and criminal prosecution and deterrence of health care fraudulence and abuse.

At the Exposition, Steve Konsin along with Geoffrey Feldesman will represent Syrtis Solutions as exhibitors in booth 109. The will be there to respond to any questions concerning ProTPL applications and its unparalleled cost avoidance solution for any individual involved in the “payers of last resort” marketplace.

In addition, on Tuesday, between 2:40 p.m. and 3:40 p.m., Steve Konsin will host a seminar on ProTPL relating to primary coverage capture and cost avoidance strategies for “Payer of Last Resort” markets.

The following is an outline for the training session:

“To comply with federal state statutes, payers of last resort providers must constantly improve recovery and cost avoidance practices. They are challenged with the difficult task of recovering payments when primary coverage information is not presented by the recipient at the time services are rendered. For a multitude of reasons, many recipients do not share other coverage information or are unaware that other coverage exists. This session will introduce technology-based solutions to prospectively cost avoid pharmacy claims and increase medical cost recovery. Through a case study, faculty will illuminate the potential for significant cost avoidance.”

We hope to see you at the NHCAA‘s Anti-Fraud Expo!
